Mel has 20 years of experience in professional writing and editing. With a bachelor's degree in English, philosophy, and the humanities and a master's degree in publishing and writing, she has a broad range of knowledge and skills to apply to any project.
She has edited nonfiction such as academic essays and pieces on current events, entertainment, and lifestyle topics as well as dozens of fiction works from short stories to full-length novels in literary, mystery, thriller, science fiction, fantasy, and romance genres.
In her personal life, Mel is a USA Today bestselling author with eight published novels. When she's not at her computer, she's most likely whipping up a dessert in the kitchen, trying a new adventure, or doting on her much-beloved rescue dog.
